Norma Jean Elizabeth Davidson, 87, of Hartsburg, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019. She was born November 2, 1932, at her parent's home in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Jaegers) Goeller. Jean was a 1951 graduate of St. Peter High School. She worked from 1952-1960 at the Missouri Department of Revenue in the License Bureau. She continued her career at the Missouri Governor's Mansion during the Ashcroft and Carnahan years. Jean enjoyed those 16 years helping both families with all aspects of this historic home. Her roll recipe, lovingly referred to as "Jean's rolls" are still used today on the Mansion menu. She also had a genuine talent for flowers and loved making beautiful arrangements. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Jean was an antique expert. At one time, she had a huge salt and pepper shaker collection. She was a talented cook and delighted her family every Christmas with "Grandma's Mustard" as their gift. Her grandchildren remember the old cherry tree in her yard that they climbed as a favorite memory. Jean enjoyed the Central Bank Classic Club, parish picnics, and all dogs. Survivors include two sons, Gary Lynn Davidson, Hartsburg; Perry (Jan) Davidson, Hartsburg; five grandchildren, Jeff (Jenny) Davidson, Aaron (Andrea) Davidson, Brenna Davidson, Zachary Davidson, Sarah Davidson; and three great-grandchildren, Sophia Davidson, Rhys Davidson, and Bennett Davidson. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Calvin; and a niece, Carla Hurst. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a Rosary at 3 p.m. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic School or to a Charity of the Donor's Choice. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
