Juanita Ruth Utt

Juanita Ruth Utt, age 88, of Russellville, Mo., passed away Sunday November, 17, 2019 at her home. She was born March 22, 1931 in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Christopher and Helen (Agee) James, both of whom preceded her in death. Juanita graduated from Russellville High School. She was united in marriage to Loren Utt, in Miami, Okla. on July 7, 1964. She was a mail clerk at Vance Publishing Co. in Kansas City, Mo. until her retirement in September of 1990. Juanita was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Russellville, Mo. She enjoyed stamp collecting and reading. Most of all she enjoyed attending church. She will be sadly missed. Juanita is survived by one step-son, Darell Wayne Utt, Kansas City, Mo.; one brother-in-law, James (Trudy) Utt, Denver, Colo.; one aunt, Verna James, Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Juanita was preceded in death by two sons, Steve James and Gary Utt; one grandson, Zack Utt; daughter -in-law;, Desi Utt; and one brother -in-law, Michael Utt. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Russellville, Mo. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Brother Alan Earls will be officiating. Burial will be in the Enloe Cemetery, Russellville, Mo. Memorials are suggested to Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 8435 Mt. Olive Rd., Russellville MO 65074.
