Jerrie Lou West

Jerrie Lou West, 81, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing in Jefferson City. She was born June 29, 1938, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Melvin and Opal "Allan" Hanson. Jerrie obtained a Bachelors of Science from Lincoln University. She was then employed with the Missouri Dept. of Social Services for many years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of First Assembly of God for over 25 years. She is survived by four children: Billy Dale West of Jefferson City, Nancy Whitman of Tarpon Springs, Fla.., Lucinda "Cindi" Hampton (Donald Jr.) of Jefferson City, James West of Jefferson City; two daughters-in-law: Patricia West of Eldon, Rebecca West of Versailles; 19 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings: Don, Shirley, and Nancy. A Celebration of Jerrie's life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at First Assembly of God in Jefferson City with Rev.
