M.S. Cross Country: Blair Oaks at Tri-County Conference meet

ELDON - The Blair Oaks boys took third in the Tri-County Conference meet Thursday at Eldon Golf Club.

The Falcons had 99 points in the team standings, trailing only School of the Osage's 27 points and Southern Boone's 82 points. Eldon was fourth with 121.

Hunter Austin finished third out of 55 runners in the boys race for Blair Oaks, posting a time of 12:08.7. Nolan DeMilia was 10th with a time of 13:36.9 to also receive all-conference honors.

Other finishers for the Falcons include Tomas Gonzalez (19th, 14:23.8), Carson Roling (30th, 15:25.5), Nate Casey (37th, 15:45.8), Owyn Wise (43rd, 17:20.7) and Andrew Aholt (44th, 17:21.1).

The Blair Oaks girls finished sixth in their team standings with 159 points. Southern Boone and California were atop the standings with 44 points, but Southern Boone won the conference title on a tiebreaker.

Leighton McCasland had the fastest time for the Lady Falcons, placing 23rd out of 39 runners with a time of 16:57.5.

Other runners for the Blair Oaks girls include Reilly Griffin (31st, 18:39.8), Roslyn Crane (33rd, 18:44.0), Sophia Sandbothe (35th, 19:19.0) and Kenzee Schmidt (37th, 20:11.3).

Osage's Andrew Groos won the boys race with a time of 11:43.3, while Southern Boone's Mae Walker won the girls race in 13:10.1.
