Helias junior kicker Vito Calavaruso has been selected to the Kicking World All-American Team for the 2018 season.

Calvaruso, a multiple-time all-state selection, hit 9-of-11 field goals last season, including a pair of more than 40 yards. His two misses came from 49 and 42 yards.

Calvaruso also converted on 42-of-43 extra points and 42 of his 56 kickoffs went for touchbacks.

A total of four kickers from around the country were named to the All-American team, with four others being named honorable mention. Calvaruso is one of three juniors among the eight total selections and the lone player from Missouri to make the team.

The honor is based mostly on game statistics on players who attend Kicking World camps.
