CALIFORNIA - The Russellville eighth-grade girls basketball team improved to 9-0 on Monday with a 38-14 win against the California Lady Pintos.
Courtney Edwards scored 15 points to lead the Lady Indians, while Hallee Stewart added 12 points.
In the seventh-grade game, California defeated Russellville 51-12. Danessa Strobel had six points for the Lady Indians (2-2).
Russellville hosts Thomas Jefferson today.
