The Lewis and Clark eighth-grade girls basketball team split a doubleheader Monday against Sedalia Smith-Cotton Middle School.

Lewis and Clark won the A game 32-39 to improve to 5-0. Lyssa Sportsman scored 14 points for the Lady Trailblazers.

In the B game, Lewis and Clark lost 20-12 to drop its record to 3-2.

Lewis and Clark plays a doubleheader against West Junior High, starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Columbia.
