CALIFORNIA -- The California Lady Pintos swept the Capital City Lady Cavaliers on Tuesday, winning 25-19, 25-12, 25-19.
Ava Meinhardt led the Lady Cavaliers with 10 kills and Grace Marshall had 21 assists. Addison Jones had 20 kills, followed by Reagal Carel with 16 and Marshall with 14, and Ruby Sprenger served three aces.
Capital City (7-7-1) hosts Rock Bridge on Thursday. The freshman and JV matches start at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity match at 6:45 p.m.
Capital City won Tuesday’s JV match 25-20, 25-21 to improve to 9-4-2. The freshmen lost 16-25, 14-25, falling to 3-5-1.
