COLUMBIA -- The Helias Lady Crusaders won their sixth consecutive dual Tuesday with a 6-3 Central Missouri Activities Conference victory against the Hickman Kewpies.
Winning in doubles for the Lady Crusaders was Sydney Drinkard and Izzy Struemph (8-4) at No. 2 and Josie Francka and Jada Markway (8-2) at No. 3 doubles.
Catie Meystrik and Mary Lorang dropped the No. 1 doubles match 6-8.
Winning in singles for Helias was Meystrik (8-2) at No. 1, Struemph (8-0) at No. 4, Francka (8-2) at No. 5 and Markway (8-2) at No. 6.
Lorang (4-8) dropped the No. 2 match and Drinkard (5-8) lost at No. 3.
Helias won all six doubles matches to sweep the JV dual.
The Crusaders (7-3, 3-2 CMAC) will return to action at 4:30 p.m. today at Sedalia Smith-Cotton.
