Prep Baseball: St. Elizabeth 14, Tuscumbia 1

EUGENE - The St. Elizabeth Hornets nearly repeated their score in their second matchup with the Lions this week, this time taking the win in the opening round of the Eugene AA Bash Tournament.

Carter Otto led the way for the Hornets from the mound with a five-inning complete game win. Otto allowed two runs on three hits, one walk and one hit batter, while striking out four Lions.

Caleb Oligschlaeger had an incredible day at the plate, collecting four hits including a triple and three doubles, while plating two RBI. Jace Kesel went 3-for-3 from the dish with a triple, a walk and five RBI, while Issac Green had two hits, a walk and two RBI.

St. Elizabeth (8-1) moves on to face Eugene at 9 a.m. today.
