The Jefferson City Lady Jays lost 13-25, 22-25, 20-25 to the Lebanon Lady Yellowjackets on Monday at Fleming Fieldhouse.

Claire Stegeman had a team-high eight kills, followed by Jada Murray with six. Ava Reeser had 10 digs, Maddie Mitchell had nine and Lauren Reid had eight.

Hannah Vogt and Mitchell finished with seven and six assists, respectively.

The Lady Jays opened the tripleheader with a pair of wins, taking the JV match 25-19, 25-19 and the freshman match 25-19, 25-18.

Jefferson City (3-6) is off until next Tuesday, when the Lady Jays play at Blair Oaks in the first volleyball match at the new high school gym.
