PLEASANT HILL - The Helias Lady Crusaders won their second match in as many days Tuesday, sweeping the Pleasant Hill Chicks 25-15, 25-19, 25-18.
Jacie Buschjost and Summer Hake each had 10 kills to lead Helias, while Landrey VanOverschelde had 22 assists and Grace Verslues added 12 assists.
Buschjost finished with a team-high 13 digs, followed by Annica Luebbering with 11 digs and Verslues with nine digs. Hake posted a team-high four blocks.
Helias (8-2-1) will host Battle today at Rackers Fieldhouse.
In the JV match, Helias defeated Pleasant Hill 25-19, 25-19 to improve to 6-3-1.
Libby Gaines had five kills and 10 digs, while Addisyn Bryant tallied 11 assists and nine digs. Izzy Herrbold finished with a team-high 11 digs, Avery Saucier had seven assists and Claire Manns added four kills.
Helias won the freshman match 25-18, 25-19 to move to 7-3.
Kendal Herzing had eight kills, Eme Mason had eight assists, Reese Herigon had nine digs and Abby Mays had seven service points for the Lady Crusaders.
