NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - The New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, routing the Linn Wildcats 12-2 in Show-Me Conference play.
Asya Nichols and Brooklynn Smith each had three hits for New Bloomfield, while Kamryn Herron had two hits. Brooke Talbot, Smith and Brinley Dysart each added two RBI.
Nichols struck out two batters in five innings in the win.
New Bloomfield (6-3, 3-0 Show-Me), ranked No. 9 in Class 2 by the MHSFCA, will host Helias on Thursday.
Linn (5-7, 1-1 Show-Me) will host Tuscumbia on Friday.
