Blair Oaks softball blanks Eldon

ELDON - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons improved to 2-0 in Tri-County Conference play Thursday, defeating the Eldon Lady Mustangs 12-0 in six innings.

Blair Oaks scored one run in the second, five in the fourth and six in the sixth to win by run-rule.

Andi Siebeneck pitched her second shutout in as many days. In six innings, she struck out nine and allowed two hits and one walk.

Taylor Groner went 3-for-4 with two singles, one double and one RBI to lead the Lady Falcons. Jazmin Reinkemeyer had a pair of RBI doubles, while Kenzie Libbert had two hits, including a two-run single.

Anna Hankins added two hits, including a two-run triple, and Grace Boessen had two hits and one RBI.

Blair Oaks (6-0) will host Fulton on Monday.

In the JV game, Blair Oaks defeated Eldon 15-2 in three innings to improve to 5-2.

Ava Willson was the winning pitcher, walking one and striking out eight.

Offensively, Chesney Luebbering and Addison Kusgen each had two hits and three RBI, while Bria Boessen finished with two hits and two RBI. Madison Vaughan drove in two runs and Morgan Luebbering, Kenya Austin and Alyssa Reinkemeyer each had two hits.
