ROLLA — The Rolla Lady Bulldogs ended the Jefferson City Lady Jays' season with four home runs in an 11-2 win at Rolla Middle School in the Class 4 District 5 semifinals.

Rolla scored three runs on an RBI double, a Jefferson City error and an RBI single in the bottom of the first to take an early 3-0 lead. The Lady Bulldogs added a solo home run in the bottom of the second.

An Amaya Ford two-run shot cut that lead in half in the top of the third, and the Lady Jays stayed within a pair of runs until a five-run bottom of the fifth for Rolla.

The first four runners all reached with a leadoff home run for the Lady Bulldogs before an error and a single lead to a three-run shot a couple of batters later. Another solo shot put Rolla up 9-2.

An RBI double and a sacrifice fly added two more for the Lady Bulldogs in the bottom of the sixth. Avrey Reynolds pitched a complete game for the Lady Jays, who finish the season 10-20.
