Girls Basketball: Montgomery County 67, South Callaway 65

MOKANE - Raegan Brown scored 42 points, but the Montgomery County Lady Wildcats were able to hold on for a 67-65 victory Monday night against the South Callaway Lady Bulldogs.

Montgomery County led 17-11 after one quarter and 34-27 at halftime. The Lady Wildcats started the second half on an 11-3 run to go ahead by 15 points, but the Lady Bulldogs battled back, trailing just 52-49 entering the fourth quarter.

Grace Pontius added 11 points for South Callaway, while Reagan Arrowood had seven points and Hailee Potter scored five points.

South Callaway (0-1) plays next Tuesday at Van-Far.
