OSAGE BEACH — The Fatima Lady Comets began their season Monday night, dominating the game's final eight minutes to beat the School of the Osage Lady Indians 67-35.
Fatima outscored Osage 25-4 in the fourth quarter.
The Lady Comets led 17-8 after one quarter, then the Lady Indians closed the gap to 25-21 by halftime. Fatima pushed the lead to double digits at 42-31 by the end of the third quarter.
Ellie Brune finished with a team-high 21 points for the Lady Comets, while Alli Robertson had 19 points.
Fatima (1-0) is the No. 2 seed in next week's Comet Classic in Westphalia. The host Lady Comets will play their first-round game against seventh-seeded Cuba at 8:30 p.m. next Monday.
