The Capital City Lady Cavaliers will look to win the first district tournament title in the school history today when they take on the Rock Bridge Bruins in the Class 4 District 9 championship game.
The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Crusader Athletic Complex.
Capital City (16-6) is the third seed in the fourth-team tournament, while Rock Bridge (9-11) is the top seed.
"They're probably the best team in the district, but I don't think we're a distant next," Capital City coach Travis Cairer said. "I think we're close, it's a game we can win."
