Blair Oaks baseball wins two Saturday

MOKANE - The Blair Oaks Falcons won a pair of games Saturday, defeating the South Callaway Bulldogs 12-2 in five innings and beating Palmyra 10-1.

In the opener against South Callaway, Blair Oaks scored four runs in each of the first two innings to vault to a big early lead.

Hayden Salmons, Reid Dudenhoeffer, Wil Libbert and Josh Isaacs all had two hits in the win. Cade Stockman was the winning pitcher.

Ian Nolph hit for the cycle in the victory against Palmyra. Gavin Wekenborg and Dylan Hair had two hits each.

Isaac was the winning pitcher, working six innings. He allowed one run on three hits while recording four strikeouts.

Blair Oaks (19-4) will play Tuesday at Battle before hosting School of the Osage on Thursday and Centralia on Friday.
