Greta Hinds places first in 16-18 girls division on Missouri Junior Tour stop

NEW BLOOMFIELD - Jefferson City's Greta Hinds finished atop the leaderboard in Monday's round of the Missouri Junior Tour at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.

Hinds finished first in the 16-18-year-old girls division, shooting a 3-over 75. Hinds birdied the par-3 sixth hole and added 13 pars and four bogeys in her round.

Eldon's Kassidy Hull was runner-up in the division with an 8-over 80, birdieing the par-4 15th hole.

Also competing in the 16-18 girls division, Jefferson City's Sophie Van Dyne was seventh with a 96, while Wardsville's Elliott Hull was ninth with a 98.

Columbia's Devin Reichard placed first in the 16-18 boys division with a 4-over 76.

Eldon's Aidan Wells was runner-up with a 6-over 78, finishing with a birdie on the seventh and 18th holes.

Jefferson City's Dylan Bryann and JJ Quehl tied for fourth with an 86, while Todd Bisges was sixth with an 87 and Jordan Ralston was seventh with a 92. Holts Summit's Ashton Caudle placed eighth with a 96, followed by Linn's Landen Bennett with a 99.

Jefferson City's Burke Bauer finished first in the 14-15 boys division with a 78, tallying 13 pars in his round. Sunrise Beach's Sophia Sindlinger was first in the 14-15 girls division with a 79, as she had a birdie on the par-5 seventh hole.

In the 12-13 boys division, Columbia's Anson Munzlinger had the low 18-hole round with a 4-under 68, while Eldon's Eli Cummings had the best nine-hole score in the division with a 1-over 37.

Other first-place finishers in Monday's event were Eldon's Haven Evers, who shot a 12-over 48 in the 10-13 girls division; Eldon's Jackson Bennett, who carded a 4-over 40 in the 10-11 boys division; Columbia's Blaine Munzlinger, who posted an even-par 36 in the 8-9 boys division; and Jefferson City's McKenzie Martin, who had a 48 in the 8-9 girls division.

Monday's round was the final one-day stop this summer on the Junior Tour, which is put on by the Missouri Golf Association. The next event is the Missouri Junior Tour Championship, a two-round invitational scheduled for Aug. 8-9 at Osage National Golf Course.
