Boys Basketball: Logan-Rogersville gets double-OT win against Jefferson City

LEBANON - Jefferson City and Logan-Rogersville needed an extra eight minutes to decide Thursday's pool-play game in the Lebanon Hall of Fame Classic.

The Jays trailed by double digits in the opening quarter, rallied in the second and led late in regulation, but the Wildcats forced overtime and prevailed 76-75 in double-overtime.

The Wildcats led 20-10 at the end of the first quarter before the Jays outscored them 19-9 in the second quarter to enter halftime tied at 29.

Jefferson City led 47-45 after three quarters, the game was tied at 58 after regulation and the teams went into the second overtime period tied at 68.

Sterling DeSha scored 26 points to pace the Jays. Steven Samuels and Kevion Pendelton each scored in double figures, adding 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Jefferson City (4-11) will face Glendale at 6 p.m. today in pool play.
