LINN - The Linn Wildcats won the scoring battle in each quarter Monday of a 62-44 win against the Southern Boone Eagles.
Linn was ahead 17-14 at the end of the first quarter and continued to lead 28-21 at halftime and 44-32 through three quarters.
Caleb Maassen scored a game-high 27 points for the Wildcats and Andy Hueste finished with 18 points.
The Wildcats also won the JV game 58-56 on a buzzer-beater by Zach Dodson and opened the tripleheader with a 47-34 win in the C team game.
Linn (10-3) hosts New Bloomfield on Friday.
