Jays don't lose a match in winning two wrestling duals

ELDON - The Jefferson City Jays did not lose a match Wednesday night in taking dual victories against the Battle Spartans and the Eldon Mustangs.

Jefferson City defeated Battle 83-0 and Eldon 70-0.

Joe Kuster at 145 pounds and Isaac Enloe at 285 won both of their matches by fall. Michael Friederich at 182 won once by fall and once by technical fall. Winning once by fall and once by forfeit were Eli Tiberius at 126, Will Berendzen at 170 and Brant Aulbur at 220.

Hunter Walling won by major decision and by forfeit at 132 for the Jays. Winning by decision and by forfeit were Dominic Stafford at 113, Braden Werdehausen at 120, Kane Fuelling at 138 and Clayton Hurley at 152. Dajuan Wallace at 106, Tanner Quick at 160 and Jakeil Hayes at 195 won both of their matches by forfeit.

Jefferson City is back in action Saturday when it hosts the Steve Johnson Duals Tournament at Fleming Fieldhouse. Action will begin at 10 a.m.

In Wednesday night's JV duals, Jefferson City defeated Battle 66-3 and Eldon 72-0.
