Girls Basketball: South Callaway 55, New Haven 33

MOKANE - After receiving a first-round bye, the South Callaway Lady Bulldogs advanced to the championship game of the South Callaway Tournament with a 55-33 semifinal win Wednesday against the New Haven Lady Shamrocks.

Top-seeded South Callaway led 17-7 at the end of the first quarter, 35-17 at halftime and 44-22 through three quarters.

Paige Clubb led the Lady Bulldogs with 23 points, making seven 3-pointers in the win. DeLaney Horstman also reached double figures with 13 points.

South Callaway (7-1) will play third-seeded Montgomery County for the title at 4 p.m. Saturday.
