MOKANE — The New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats outscored the North Callaway Lady Thunderbirds 17-7 in the fourth quarter, rallying Wednesday for a 53-49 win in the loser's bracket semifinals of the South Callaway Tournament.

New Bloomfield, the No. 6 seed, led 20-13 at the end of the first quarter. North Callaway answered, tying the score at 28 by halftime, then took a 42-36 lead into the fourth quarter.

Ellie Emerson was one of three Lady Wildcats to score in double figures, leading the team with 17 points. Asya Nichols finished with 16 points and Makenna Branch chipped in 15 points for a balanced scoring attack.

New Bloomfield (4-7) will play Russellville in the fifth-place at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
