EUGENE - Eugene senior Tyler Renn scored his 1,000th career point Thursday night in the Eagles' 69-25 pool-play win against the Stover Bulldogs in the Eugene Tournament.
Eugene also defeated the Tuscumbia Lions 96-27 on Tuesday to open pool play.
Second-seeded Eugene (4-0), ranked No. 10 in Class 2, will play fourth-seeded Linn for the tournament championship at 8 p.m. Saturday.
