MOKANE - Carson Kesel led off the game with a home run Monday as St. Elizabeth defeated South Callaway 5-2.
Dylan Wobbe finished with four hits for the Hornets, including a pair of doubles, while driving in two runs. Brock Lucas had a double and a triple for St. Elizabeth and drove in a run. Cole Otto also had two hits and an RBI in the victory.
Caleb Oligschlaeger worked the first five innings to get the win, He allowed one run on three hits and two walks to go along with 12 strikeouts. Wobbe got the save, working the final two innings. He allowed an unearned run on two walks while striking out three.
