OWENSVILLE — The Capital City Cavaliers and Lady Cavaliers each won team titles Tuesday in the Owensville Quad.

The Cavaliers won 13 of the 19 events, dominating the team standings with 262 points. Owensville was second with 144 points and Helias took third with 65.

The Lady Cavaliers posted 12 wins to finish with 212.5 points. Owensville was second with 153 points and Helias placed fourth with 55.5 points.

Kiara Strayhorn won all four of her events for the Lady Cavaliers. She finished first in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and added wins in the high jump and the long jump.

Kalie Strayhorn, Anastasia Koopman and Shayla Stewart were all double-winners. Strayhorn took first in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, Koopman won the 400-meter dash and the triple jump, and Stewart placed first in the shot put and discus.

The Capital City girls also won the 4x100- and 4x200-meter relays. Kalie Strayhorn, Malaika Kamara, Audrina Houston and Kloey Strayhorn ran in the 4x100, while Kamara, Michaela Hightower, Darlene Cris-Kargo and Leah Warren were the Lady Cavaliers who ran in the 4x200.

Ethan Woods was the only double-winner in individual events for the Capital City boys, taking first in the 100 and the long jump.

Eight other Cavaliers won individual events: Ben Lear in the 1,600-meter run, Connor Hull in the 400, TJ Dyer in the 300 hurdles, Braden Voss in the 800, Keion Grieve in the 200, Colin Voss in the 3,200-meter run, Ian Nelson in the discus and Matthew Boyer in the javelin.

The Capital City boys also won three of the four relay events. Wood, Hull, Cameron Harrison and Emmanuel Borde-Koufie won both the 4x100 and 4x200 for the Cavaliers, while Hull, Grieve, Bolu Sotonwa and Harrsion took first in the 4x400.

Helias' lone event winner was Dominic Crisostomo in the boys pole vault.
