VIENNA — Marsie Messersmith pitched a four-hitter Tuesday, leading the Vienna Lady Eagles to a 5-1 win against the Cuba Lady Wildcats in Gasconade Valley Conference action.

Messersmith struck out eight and walked one in the win.

Karissa Feeler had three hits and a stolen base to lead the Lady Eagles, while Gabby Wilkinson finished with two hits, a stolen base and an RBI.

Vienna (5-0, 1-0 GVC) hosts Belle on Thursday.

In the JV game, Vienna won 4-3 to improve to 3-0. Abrea Simmons was the winning pitcher for the Lady Eagles.
