COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Father Tolton Lady Trailblazers scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Monday to hold off the Fatima Lady Comets for a 5-3 win.

Fatima scored two runs in the fourth and another in the sixth, turning a 3-0 deficit into a tie at 3.

Chayce Gier drew a bases-loaded walk in the fourth, while Karli Struemph scored later in the inning on a wild pitch. Gier drove in her second run of the game with a single in the sixth.

Anna Eichholz, Allison Schwartze and Londyn Stuckenschneider each singled for the rest of the Lady Comets' hits.

Gier allowed five runs on seven hits and struck out three batters in six innings.

Fatima (3-3) hosts Tuscumbia today for its Show-Me Conference opener.
