WARDSVILLE - The Fatima Lady Comets dropped a 14-25, 14-25, 17-25 decision Tuesday to the Hermann Lady Bearcats in the championship match of the Class 3 District 8 Tournament.
Fatima ends its season with a 16-14-4 record.
Hermann (22-6-3), which won its fifth straight district title, will face the District 6 champion - either Winfield (17-5-1) or St. Charles West (5-11) - in the Class 3 sectionals Saturday at Kirksville. John Burroughs will face Kirksville in the other sectional contest Saturday.
