Cross Country: Blair Oaks at Bowling Green Invitational

BOWLING GREEN - The Blair Oaks girls cross country team finished eighth while the boys were ninth Friday at the Bowling Green Invitational.

Kati Schoeneberg ran the course in 20:19.33 to place fifth for the Lady Falcons in the White Division race.

Chelsi Forck and Ansley Casey finished 44th and 45th with times of 23:41.33 and 23:44.87, respectively.

Also contributing to the team score of 189 points were Jazmine Birky in 51st in 23:56.50 and Alaina Leffert in 60th in 24:23.28.

Father Tolton claimed the team title with 51 points.

Leading the Blair Oaks boys was Levi Frisbie with a 13th-place finish in a time of 17:43. Not far behind was Thomas McCauley in 20th in 18:00.

Rounding out the team score of 192 points were Easton DeMilia in 28th (18:28.10), Dex Crane in 68th (20:10.80) and Cody Pickett in 75th (20:24.90).

Blair Oaks will compete next Saturday in the Class 3 District 4 meet at Linn.
