CROCKER — The Vienna Lady Eagles won the Class 1 District 2 Tournament title Friday with a 15-0 win against Richland.

Marsie Messersmith pitched a perfect game in the three-inning contest, striking out eight of the nine batters she faced. The only ball in play was a popout in foul territory, and Vienna's offense took care of the rest in a run-rule win.

Molly Otto hit a pair of home runs for the Lady Eagles. Kayla Hertzing added two triples, and Eva Hollis, Jada Kleffner and Gabby Wilkinson each had two hits. Kadence George stole four bases for Vienna.

The Lady Eagles (18-4) will host Neelyville in the quarterfinals Wednesday, as the Lady Tigers (14-9) defeated Naylor 11-1 to win the District 1 title.
