LINN — The Iberia Rangers played a strong fourth quarter, outscoring the Linn Wildcats 13-3 in the final eight minutes of Friday's 51-43 win.

The score was tied at 10 after one quarter, then Iberia led 24-23 at halftime. Linn held a 40-38 lead at the end of three quarters.

Issac Lawson and Kobe Halley led Iberia with 15 points each. Wade Bond also reached double figures with 12 points.

Alek Peters finished with a game-high 15 points for Linn, followed by Caleb Maassen with 13 points.

Iberia (1-0) received the No. 1 seed in the Frisco League Tournament and will play the winner of Stoutland and Crocker on Dec. 1 at Laquey.

Linn (0-1) will host Eldon on Monday.
