VERSAILLES — Eldon's Aidan Wells and Kassidy Hull took first place Friday in the 16-18-year-old division during Missouri Junior Tour golf competition at Rolling Hills Country Club.

Wells shot a 2-over 73, finishing six shots ahead of Ashland's Matthew Potter to add 35 points to his season record in the Missouri Junior Tour standings. Wells posted three birdies and 11 pars in his round.

Friday was Wells' second tour win of the season. He also won last week in Fulton.

Hull posted a 4-over 75, edging Columbia's Sydney Willingham by one shot in the girls division, while adding to her overall lead in the Missouri Junior Tour standings. Hull tallied two birdies on the front nine to go with 10 pars and six bogeys in her round.

Friday was Hull's fifth tour win this summer. She has finished in the top three at each of the seven events.

Jefferson City's Greta Hinds was third with an 8-over 79, shooting four birdies in her round. Jefferson City's Camryn Swinfard and Sam Backes were in a three-way tie for sixth place after posting rounds of 89. Wardsville's Elliott Hull took 11th place with a 95.

In the 16-18 boys division, Westphalia's Cole Lehmen took sixth place with an 87, while Jefferson City's Todd Bisges tied for seventh with an 88. Jefferson City's Jordan Ralston was 11th with a 102 followed by Eldon's Alex Lusher with a 111 and Jefferson City's Myles Hamacher with a 130.

In the 14-15 division, California's William Boyd won the boys title with an 11-over 82, beating Ashland's Jacob Anderson and Osage Beach's Gunnar Schuster by a stroke. Columbia's Siena Minor won the girls title with a 9-over 80.

Boyd birdied the par-5 13th hole and added 10 pars in his round. Schuster posted two birdies and six pars in his round.

California's Jackson Hackett placed sixth in the boys division with a 97, while Eldon's Luke Barchenski was eighth with a 106. Jefferson City's Sam Uptergrove took ninth with a 113.

In the girls division, Sunrise Beach's Sophia Sindlinger took third place witha n 84, followed by Lake Ozark's Hanna Maschhoff in fourth with an 87. Jefferson City's Sophie Hinds tied for fifth with a 101 and Jefferson City's Kylie Reed finished seventh with a 118.

In other divisions that played just the back nine at Rolling Hills, Grain Valley's Eli Herbert won the 12-13 boys division with a 1-over 37; Columbia's Kate Ryan won the 10-13 girls division with a 5-over 41; Eldon's Eli Cummings and Columbia's Anson Munzlinger tied for first in the 10-11 boys division with a 4-over 40; Columbia's Blaine Munzlinger won the 8-9 boys division with a 1-under 35; and Jefferson City's McKenzie Martin won the 8-9 girls division with a 12-over 48.

Friday was the seventh of 10 rounds in the Missouri Junior Tour schedule. The tour's next competition is Sunday at A.L. Gustin Golf Course in Columbia.
