Missouri Junior Amateur set to start today in Warrensburg

Several area golfers are scheduled to begin play in the Missouri Junior Amateur.

The annual two-day tournament, hosted by the Missouri Golf Association, will be played at the Keth Memorial Mules National Golf Course in Warrensburg.

Many of the golfers are playing in the age 16-18 division.

On the boys side, Alex Gentry and Jordan Grefrath of Jefferson City will be joined by Cole Lehman of Westphalia and Aiden Wells of Eldon. On the girls side, Greta Hinds and Camryn Swinfard of Jefferson City will play along with Elliott Hull of Wardsville and Kassidy Hull of Eldon.

Jacob Anderson of Ashland, William Boyd of California and Davis Linhardt of Jefferson City have entered in the boys age 14-15 division. Sophie Hinds of Jefferson City and Sophia Sindlinger of Sunrise Beach are entered in the girls age 14-15 tournament.

Brady Altermatt of Lake Ozark, Ayden Howard of California and Grayson Moore of Jefferson City are entered in the boys 12-13 division.

The boys age 10-11 division features Blayne Altermatt of Lake Ozark, Seth Duncan of Osage Beach and Anthony Forrest of Jefferson City. Haven Evers of Eldon and Kinsey Lawson of California are entered in the girls age 10-11 division.

Graham Henley of Eldon is entered in the boys age 8-9 tournament.
