Prep Wrestling: Three champs for Osage at tourney

OWENSVILLE - Three individuals won titles Saturday for the School of the Osage Indians at the Owensville Tournament.

Mason Dulle won the title at 145 pounds. After dropping his first match of the day, Dulle won his next three by fall to claim the title in round-robin play.

Chase Corida finished first at 160 with a 5-0 record, winning all five matches by fall. Four of the wins were first-period pins.

Jack Creasy also won a title at 195 with a 5-0 record. Four of his wins were by fall and the fifth was by technical fall.

Placing second for the Indians were Eric Westbrook at 138 and Rudy Escobar at 182, each with 4-1 records. Escobar won four matches by fall and Westbrook recorded one pin before losing by medical forfeit in the championship match.

Finishing third were Ryan Shepers at 132, Corey Hubkey at 152, Brenden Brell at 170, Connor Arrowood at 220 and Tanner Gardner at 285.

Hubkey was 4-1 with two pins, while Arrowood was 3-1 with three pins. Shepers was 3-2 with two wins by fall, Gardner was 3-2 with one pin and Breel was 2-2 with one pin.

Jacob Zelle took fourth place with a 1-3 record at 113. Adam Diver finished eighth at 106 with an 0-5 mark.
