CHAMOIS - The Chamois Lady Pirates improved to 2-0 in Show-Me Conference play Tuesday with a 47-27 win against the Eugene Lady Eagles.
But a tough second half, including a scoreless third quarter, allowed the visiting Lady Eagles to take the road victory.
Katie Keilholz scored a team-high 16 points to lead Chamois.
Kaydi Alderman led Eugene with a game-high 20 points
The Lady Pirates trailed 12-11 after one quarter, led 18-16 at halftime and trailed 29-18 after three quarters.
Chamois (7-5) is back in action Friday when it hosts Tuscumbia for Homecoming at 6 p.m.
Eugene (8-2) plays Thursday at Eldon.
