Girls Basketball: Chamois 60, Tuscumbia 39

CHAMOIS - The Chamois Lady Pirates used a big first half to beat Tuscumbia 60-39 on Thursday in their regular-season finale.

Chamois led 21-7 at the end of the first, 37-16 at halftime and 49-24 after three quarters.

Katie Keilholz scored 24 for the Lady Pirates and Makenna Wuelling added 18 in the win.

Chamois (12-9, 4-4 Show-Me Conference) is the No. 2 seed in the Class 1 District 9 Tournament, and opens district play Saturday against No. 7 Jamestown. The game will be at 4:10 p.m. at Lewis & Clark Middle School.
