ST. LOUIS — The Helias Lady Crusaders dropped a 55-52 decision Tuesday night to the Gateway Lady Jaguars.

Gateway led 11-9 after one quarter and 24-17 at the half. Helias outscored the home team 12-6 in the third quarter to cut its deficit to one at 30-29.

Lindsey Byers had 13 points for the Lady Crusaders, while Kylie Bernskoetter added 12.

Gateway is now 13-9.

Helias (8-10) is back in action Thursday against Hickman. The JV game will start at 6 p.m., followed by the varsity game around 7:30 p.m.
