LINN — The Eugene Lady Eagles held off a fourth-quarter comeback attempt from the Linn Lady Wildcats on the road Tuesday evening, winning 43-41 in Show-Me Conference play.

Linn trailed 9-8 after one quarter, 23-15 at halftime and 35-24 after three quarters. The Lady Wildcats outscored Eugene 17-8 in the final period.

Lindsey Brandt led the Lady Wildcats with 16 points.

Kayla Bond had a team-high 13 points for the Lady Eagles.

Eugene (16-2, 5-0 Show-Me) hosts Tuscumbia on Friday.

Linn (10-9, 0-2 Show-Me) hosts St. Elizabeth on Thursday.
