Prep Softball: Lady Jays 11, Camdenton 1

Jefferson City never trailed Friday in an 11-1 win against Camdenton at Vogel Field.

Avrey Reynolds threw a complete game, giving up four hits and an unearned run while striking out five.

Megan Green and Reece DeSimone each went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a home run in the win.

Jefferson City had six hits but nine RBI as a team, walking seven times while striking out once.

Kara Daly and Jaiden Allabaugh each walked twice, and the Lady Jays' first three hitters, Addison Morgan, Daly and Green, each scored twice. Jefferson City also stole seven bases as a team, with Abi Karr and Morgan leading the way at two apiece.

The Lady Jays (3-2) host Rock Bridge at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
