The Jefferson City Lady Jays blanked the Sedalia Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers 9-0 in a tennis dual Tuesday at Washington Park.

Jefferson City won all three doubles matches by scores of 8-0. Winning for the Lady Jays were the teams of Sandhiya Baskar and Akhi Donthireddy, Sudhi Kumar and Madelyn Becker, and Jaden Harper and Lauren Statler.

The Lady Jays dropped just nine games in sweeping the singles matches. Jefferson City got victories from Baskar (8-1), Donthireddy (8-1), Kumar (8-2), Harper (8-3), Statler (8-0) and Kenedy Fischer (8-2).

The Lady Jays won the JV match 5-0.

Jefferson City (8-1) will play Helias today at the Crusader Athletic Complex. Action is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
