LAQUEY — The Iberia Rangers jumped out to a 28-16 lead after one quarter on their way to a 90-49 victory Monday night against Stoutland in the first round of the Class 2 District 8 Tournament.

Jesse Routh led four Rangers, who led 49-24 at the half, in double figures with 25 points. Garrett Ray added 17, while Zach Voss totaled 16 and Collin Riemensnider chipped in with 11.

Iberia (18-7) will play Eugene in the semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Iberia edged Eugene 54-52 to open the season in the Frisco/Show-Me Showdown.

Eugene defeated Vienna 82-49 in its first round game Monday night.
