ST. ELIZABETH - The St. Elizabeth Hornets opened the home portion of their schedule Tuesday with a 74-38 win against the Crocker Lions.
The Hornets jumped out to a 20-8 lead after the first quarter and extended that advantage to 42-15 at the half.
Ross Struemph tossed in 22 points to lead the Hornets.
St. Elizabeth (5-1) will face California on Saturday in the River Regions Credit Union Shootout at Fleming Fieldhouse. Game time is 4 p.m.
