Boys Basketball: Iberia 46, Dixon 40

LAQUEY - The Iberia Rangers won the Frisco League Tournament on Saturday, beating the Dixon Bulldogs 46-40 in the championship game.

Iberia led 16-10 after one quarter, but Dixon closed the gap to 26-23 at halftime and tied the score at 32 by the end of the third quarter.

The Rangers outscored the Bulldogs 14-8 in the final eight minutes to claim the tournament title.

Zach Voss led the Rangers with 16 points, scoring his 1,000th career point in the win. Kobe Halley also scored in double figures with 10 points.

Iberia (3-1) hosts School of the Osage on Tuesday.
