TIPTON - In a low-scoring battle Saturday, the Chamois Pirates came back to beat the Jamestown Eagles 29-26 in the third-place game of the Tipton Tournament.
Jamestown, the No. 2 seed, held a 10-5 lead after one quarter, but Chamois, the No. 4 seed, tied the score at 15 at halftime. The Pirates took a 23-21 lead into the fourth quarter.
Devin Warren scored a game-high 15 points for the Pirates, while Christian Snyder finished with 14 points for the Eagles.
Chamois (2-2) plays Tuesday at Wellsville-Middletown.
Jamestown (1-3), ranked No. 9 in Class 1, hosts Tipton on Thursday.
