The Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks scored 28 points in the second quarter Thursday, routing Rolla HomeSchool in a 65-19 win.
The Mavericks had a one-possession lead at the end of the first quarter at 8-5, but they outscored Rolla HomeSchool 28-6 in the second quarter to lead 36-11 at halftime. The Mavericks added 22 third-quarter points to extend their lead to 58-15.
Noah Haskamp had a team-high 19 points for the Mavericks and Shelomi Miner finished with 18 points.
Missouri HomeSchool (4-5) plays today against the St. Louis HomeSchool Patriots.
