Wrestling: Capital City goes 1-1 in tri-dual

ST. JAMES - The Capital City Cavaliers split a tri-dual Tuesday, defeating the Potosi Trojans 57-24 and losing 52-28 to the St. James Tigers.

Finishing 2-0 in the tri-dual for the Cavaliers was AJ Kempker at 113 pounds and Hurley Jacobs Jr. at 195.

Going 1-1 were Izzy Eitel at 106, Eli Schuemann at 126, Keaton Schrage at 138, Gio Cooper at 145, Dillon Mulcahey at 152, Jabari Hubbard at 160, Lorenzo Gillom at 170, Bahshi Traylor at 182, Ian Nelson at 220 and Greg Porting at 285.

At 120, Ted Krause won by decision against Potosi and Sterling Wheatley lost by technical fall against St. James. The Cavalier were open at 132 in both duals.

Capital City (3-1) wrestles today at Tipton.
