Girls Basketball: Chamois 48, Vienna 24

TIPTON - Facing each other for the second time in less than a week, the Chamois Lady Pirates won the rematch 48-24 against the Vienna Lady Eagles on Monday in the first round of the Tipton Tournament.

Chamois led 9-4 after one quarter, 23-10 at halftime and 33-17 through three quarters.

Alexis Slusser paced the Lady Pirates with 15 points, followed by Makenna Wuelling with 14 points. Katie Keilholz also reached double figures with 11 points.

Kadence George led the Lady Eagles with 14 points.

Chamois (2-0), the No. 4 seed, will face top-seeded Tipton at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinals.

Vienna (0-2), the No. 5 seed, will take on eighth-seeded La Monte at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
